i love my sister but man, i have shit do to that requires leaving the house, and spending two hours on the phone listening to her talk about her job (mostly) and her friends (partly) is not what i had in mind. and then she asked me about my job search and i said well, actually, i kind of want to get off the phone so i can eat lunch and get dressed and leave the house and get my comics and i have to be home by three so i can then drive out to your house so we can see argo. (which i'm quite looking forward to.) she sounded all disappointed that i didn't want to hang on the phone any longer, even tho i pointed out that i'm going to see her in three hours and we can talk then. >.<
she also asked why i didn't interrupt her, and i said because clearly she needed to talk. but also? i have nothing new to report about my job search and to be honest i don't particularly want to talk about it for more than ten minutes, unless i'm talking to someone who wants to submit my resume for a job. which my sister doesn't.
so now i am going to put clothes on and leave the house and pick up my comics. woo.
james dean and his cousin markie, who looks like he's five. they play with model cars, read classics illustrated comic books, fix a bike.... they are very, very cute.
