caught the first episode of the leverage summer finale, and i liked it.
it was all hardison and parker and eliot! which is my favorite thing. but it seemed like a very criminal minds-y episode, like a combination of amplification and to hell and back and mayhem, with the airborne disease being let loose in the subway system by the disgruntled "omg terrorism!" scientist and the pig farm and the domestic terrorism in a big city and, you know, the profiling. using the 1918 spanish flu as the toxin of choice was kind of weird - does the cdc have some of it, like they have some smallpox? - but hey, we got terrified!hardison (the spanish flu was a fucking plague, no lie - i'd be scared too) and then eliot telling him "you're the smartest person i've ever met, now find me this guy". which made me go "aww". and i loved parker telling them "do you know why you bring a cooler to a robbery? i do" and then finding the false wall in the underground lab. and climbing all over hardison to defuse the bomb in the guy's house. and she set off the flu bomb and fried the flu! and poor hardison, "i can't lose you", aw. and adam baldwin understood his car alarm giving him an sos - eliot's hacker. :D all their criminal skills were explicitly necessary to crack the case, and i know every episode is pretty much like that, but i really liked the "now what do we do?" "i don't know." "i do!" bits.
and! eliot got a haircut! it makes him look younger. i like it.
i missed the second episode of the finale on account of i had to watch hell on wheels, which i also liked.
now geronimo is on and i can't watch it because i'm going to bed, but stephen mchattie is in the opening credits! the rev from haven. i wonder who he plays....
