tonight my sister had me over for dinner and i brought a chocolate chip pecan pie, which was an experiment because my baked goods pretty much always are. it tasted more like a chocolate pie with pecans in, rather than a pecan pie with chocolate chips. my sister liked it, tho. and it was good, if overwhemingly chocolatey. all the pecans floated to the top of the filling while it was baking, which was weird. can i freeze the leftovers? does pecan pie freeze?
