i feel like i've aleady had my weekend and it's only half over
i can't believe it's sunday. i had friday off and i have tomorrow off and that is just way too many days off in a row without a. me going anywhere, b. anyone coming to see me, or c. thanksgiving.
i got my bigbang back from my lovely beta and i'm afraid to look at her comments. >.< not that i'm so worried about what the comments actually are - i mean, i'm pretty sure all her critiques are valid - but more that i don't want to know how much work they'll entail. i am the laziest writer ever, seriously.
friday i went to see wesleysgirl to hang out and chat and eat lunch and meet her foster kittens. there are eight of them and they're all excitable little balls of fluff with sharp tiny claws. SO CUTE. wg had warned me to wear pants and sleeves because the kittens like to climb people and, you know, sharp tiny claws, so i wore jeans, and totally forgot to maybe wear socks, so my feet got all scratched up from kittens climbing on them. >.< and now they ITCH OH MY GOD. but on the other hand, kittens are REALLY FUCKING CUTE. and watching them wrestle and climb all over each other and kind of hang off stuff was really fun. and they're all named after avengers because wg is a giant fangirl. :D
i also may or may not have bent wg's ear about spn (which she stopped watching O.O and i can't remember what episode it was that i mentioned but she said maybe she should start watching it again, so of course i had to explain why s6 and s7 were better than s4 and s5... >.< ) and then told her all about all five (!!!) of my ideas for bigbang 2013. sometimes you really just have to share your plot bunnies in person. and then i apologized because i didn't even stop talking long enough to eat my sandwich. >.<
i don't see wg that often even tho she doesn't live that far away, so it was just really nice to hang out with her for an afternoon. even if i did do all the talking.
friday night i went to my sister's house to watch the incredible hulk in preparation for someday eventually seeing the avengers, and it was kind of, uh, well, it's not the best of the single-avenger movies, let's just put it that way.
and yesterday i went to the peabody essex musuem and took a lot of pictures and saw the chinese house and, er, bought my sister's birthday present, because we went out for dinner for it last night and i needed to get her something. i love the peabody essex. it's full of really cool shit. i was kind of expecting it to be more crowded, tho. maybe it's just that everyone's away for the weekend.
and today i don't know what to do with myself, besides go to the comic shop and pick up my comics. i kind of wanted to see battleship but it's too nice a day to waste on a movie, even if that movie includes alexander skarsgard and taylor kitsch and rihanna and shit blowing up.
