before i get to the liveblog, i just want to mention that today is fenway park's 100th anniversary, and the red sox played the yankees, just as they did 100 years ago (altho the yankees were called the highlanders back then), and they wore reproduction 1912 uniforms, and sadly the sox lost. (they won in 1912, but the yankees kinda sucked back then.)
"she was stressed and i... didn't have a soul." OH MY GOD SAM YOU ARE THE CUTEST. and "that's a lot of foxholes", heee. so far i like this one, based solely on the fact that the boys are ADORABLE. and sam still makes the cutest damn faces. and i like annie.
holy shit, is this house ever haunted. O.O i'm guessing it's keeping the ghosts, hence the reason annie never got a reaper and why there so many dead people hanging around.
"angsting"? a guy who died in 1932 is really going to say "angsting"? o.O
does anyone else think the van ness house looks kind of like the house from playthings?
"i can kill werewolves, fix a pinto, and bake cornbread." heee! i bet his cornbread is good, too. and i love that he's pretty much the exact same person in death that he was in life. ie, cranky. :D
why have we never seen wet post-shower dean?? how soon can we get wet!dean again?? it's almost as good as shirtless!dean.
so it's not the house killing and keeping dead people, it's the house's owner. i was kind of hoping it was the house. but no, the owner haunting what i assume is the front door key. do the boys seem kind of, uh, slow on the uptake this episode, or is it just because we see them thru bobby's pov, and he's all frustrated with them?
as ghosts, why can't bobby and annie just walk thru the wall into the secret room?
did i mention that i like this episode? because i do. it feels kind of s1/s2-ish, altho possibly because it reminds me of asylum and playthings, with the house hauntings and the fairly straightforward brotherly stuff. (asylum was the first spn episode i ever saw. i'm pretty sure i've mentioned that before. once or ninety times twice. :D ) i'm not creeped right out, but sometimes i just want a good old-fashioned haunting and salt-and-burn.
"well, you didn't know her like i did." for certain values of "know", tho.... *snerk*
i totally forgot that bobby chose to stay, that his reaper gave him the option. and now the boys are going to tell him to go. which i get. and i get dean's "everything should end" - considering both he and sam have managed to fuck with the natural order SEVERAL TIMES, and aside from them not having to stay dead, there's always a problem -
and this is where i got distracted by in plain sight and have now forgotten the rest of my thought. >.< anyway. from the scenes for next week, it looks like bobby's going to stick around (altho if he's tied to the flask he kind of has to) the boys are going to, i dunno, keep working with him. which is super weird for hunters, to hunt with a ghost, but i guess if anyone's going to buck a trend, it's going to be sam and dean.
(of grave importance)
