happy birthday goshawk, flygirl! here's to clear skies and nifty aircraft. :D and cake, of course.

dancing boys: *tango*

o my flist, it is a shockingly beautiful day outside and all i want to do is sit in it and read post-apocalyptic novels [1] and try to work around the fact that there is one tiny part of my bigbang that i absolutely cannot visualize and it is making me NUTS. >.<

(no, i am not writing a post-apocalypse. altho for reasons that escape me, all this gorgeous sunny weather is making me want to. i don't get it either. maybe i just need to watch terminator 4 again....)

criminal minds last night was disturbing as hell altho not particularly squickifying, also REALLY SAD. and i thought the saddest part was when angel's mother admitted she was afraid to report him missing when he vanished, because she was in the country illegally and didn't want to be sent back because she had to look out for the rest of her family. *heartclench*

my fellow jews - have you started your passover shopping yet? i don't want to buy stuff too early because i don't want the matzah to go stale before i can finish it (this has happened!) but at the same time i don't want to be gefilte fishlet-less again this year. i need some guidance!

maybe a better question would be whether or not there's actually passover food on the shelves in your local grocery store(s) yet....

[1] currently working my way thru lynn flewelling's luck in the shadows which is proving to be a hard slog for no discernible reason - i like the characters, i like the worldbuilding, the names aren't ridiculously unpronounceable (always a potential problem with fantasy novels), the narrative style isn't difficult and i can pretty easily follow the plot and i have no idea why i'm not interested in finishing it, except i'm not. >.< but i will, because i kind of want to know what happens. also i already read the last page and i would like some context for it. :D

such nice weather, bigbang 2012, passover, criminal minds s7, psa
