for the hunger games fen on the flist, i give you adam richman making a hunger games reference. basically catsup > katniss. hee. (he is so cute i cannot stand it.)
over the weekend a guy in texas dared snatch a cash box of girl scout cookie money, and one of the girl scouts punched him. her fellow scout grabbed the bumper of the car the guy was in, apparently in an attempt to keep the car (and the thief and the money) from driving off. and the moral of this story is that unless you are also a scout or a scout leader, you do not touch the girl scouts' cookie money. do not even breathe wrong near it. girl scouts will kick your ass.
last week i watched most of the brothers grimm on tv and i don't remember if i caught this when i saw it in the theater (i probably did) but my god, is it a brothercesty movie. i spent most of the bits i saw going "i do not remember it being quite this slashy!" which probably means i have a bad memory and not that i didn't notice it the first time around.
remix redux 10 is open, for the remixing fanficcers in the audience.
also i shall steal this notquiteameme from musesfool, because i am nothing if not a nosy curious woman:
I was thinking you should tell me about stories you think I should write. I mean, if you could sit me down for a day or whatever and say, "cindy, I want you to write this story for me," what would that story be?
I'm not actually promising to *write* any of these, mind you, but it's fun anyway. And who knows if I'll be inspired!
