note! this was written/recorded as a collaborative effort for pod-together - staranise wrote and i recorded and we discussed it back and forth. i don't think i've ever recorded anything so quickly after reading it for the first time. and i have to say, it's really helpful to be able to ask the author of the fic "how do i pronounce this person's name?" and then send her the file for her notes before posting it. altho it was kind of a challenge to figure out how to read an email message - do i read the addresses? the subject heading? the date? does reading "helen dot meyer at cheyenne dot a-f dot mil" out loud sound silly? (the answer seems to be "no". :D ) staranise used a fairly conversational style and told me dr meyer has a wry kind of voice, and i realized "wry" is something i can imagine but not exactly deliberately put into speech. >.< but i think it turned out ok. i liked the fic, and staranise liked how i read it, and it was a fun experiment and i would do it again.
