last night for curling my entire team was out except for me, so it was me and three guys i don't normally play with, who don't necessarily normally play with each other either. (pretend that doesn't sound as dirty as it does.) the other team was all guys too, so it was me and seven guys on the ice and that's weird to me. i'm used to at least one other woman on the other team. we lost, too, but that didn't surprise me, because that's what happens when you have three substitute curlers and, uh, me.
i now have about 2000 words for my spn_cinema fic. woot. i think about it when i'm driving home from work. it kind of helps that i already have a framework to hang it off of, and that i know what story i want to tell. and i thought i wanted to make jdm a car thief, but now i think he might be one of the cops. (in the earliest incarnation of the gangster story, he was an fbi agent.)
on the other hand, the deadline for picfor1000 fics is today and i got nothin'. altho i don't think i've ever posted a story on time, so i'm not too bothered.
it snowed saturday night, so when i got up sunday morning there was snow on the ground, just enough to cover the old dirty snow but not enough to make driving or walking a pain in the ass. the sky was overcast and gray but the snow was pretty, and when i went to the apple store to get a new power cord for my laptop, they just exchanged it and didn't make me buy a new one. score.
i've posted every monday, tuesday, and wednesday this month, and no sundays. weird.
