happy birthday
ragingpixie and
kita0610! you're both pretty fabulous ladies and i hope you're having pretty fabulous days, ideally with hot guys and lots of frosting on your cake. and that is not in fact a metaphor.
dancing boys: *tapdance*
it's thundering and lightninging out and i'm kind of confused. i like thunderstorms, but february seems like a weird month for them.
i've been reading this book - due east, by valerie sayer, which i found in my parents' basement when i was sorting thru my books that i was storing down there - and i finished it tonight, and i'm not sure i liked it and can't figure out why i bought it. the main character, who's fifteen and pregnant and tells her dad it was a virgin conception (it wasn't), spends pretty much the entire book misunderstanding and misinterpreting her dad, who spends pretty much the entire book misunderstanding and misinterpreting her, to the point i wanted to reach into the pages and shake both of them and tell them to fucking talk to each other. so, so annoying. and i got to the end and thought well, they're all going to be quietly miserable the rest of their lives.... but now i'm done with it and can read something else. :D
the dark knight is on tv and y'know, i really hate christian bale's batman voice. which is a shame, since i like the movie, and i looooove heath ledger. his joker is creepy as hell.
justified comes back on wednesday! woot! raylan knows that han shot first. :D
