ok, the boys have faced down two skinwalkers that we've seen - "i'm kinda rusty on the lore" my ass. altho i didn't know a skinwalker could make another one by biting someone.... that's very plottily convenient. altho these guys seem more shapeshiftery than skinwalkery, like there's a difference.
i feel bad for the doggie shapeshifter. he just wanted a family. he wanted someplace to belong and someone to love.
y'know, sam is looking exceptionally cute this episode. i think it's the hair. and he doesn't look as steroidally bulky as he has in the past. and he still makes really adorable faces, altho i admit i miss the bitchface. and i don't dislike the soulless him. yeah, i know, he's not really sam and the blatant lack of compassion or human feeling is really ooc - i mean "i'd double-cross us" is not the sammy we know and love - but still, i don't totally dislike it, even tho it makes him kind of a stranger. and i like that he was (brutally!) honest with dean, and that he admitted there were some good things about being fully-souled!sam and he should probably go back to being that guy.
and he's not evil and i actually find that kind of refreshing. altho he does come across as a giant asshole.
ooh, sharpshooter!dean. i approve.
