if you read her lj you already know this, but ephemera is temporarily stranded in boston on account of the volcano. (she was going home from a work trip in indiana and the plane took off for the uk but then had to turn around because dublin airport went and closed on them.) on the one hand, i know she really wants to go home. on the other, i get to see her for a week! which pleases me. :D i feel like all i've done all weekend is bend her ear. >.< (and also eat and do laundry.) all the babbling seems to have gotten her interested in criminal minds, tho, so i have to figure out some of the best random episodes to show her. bonus!
my parents are going to amsterdam on saturday. i hope they actually get to leave.
yesterday morning for about five minutes i thought i only had a week to finish my bigbang, and i FREAKED THE FUCK OUT. (but quietly, because ephemera was on the phone.) and then i realized i was looking at the calendar wrong and calmed down. i can't wait until i'm done with the damn thing.
i missed all weekend of lj and am not going to try and catch up. (it's just two days, i know. still.) if anything noteworthy happened saturday or sunday, let me know.
