gone in sixty seconds was on last night. i love this movie. it's so ridiculous and nicolas cage is, well, nicolas cage, and i could never figure out what frances fisher was doing in it, but i love it. cool cars, fun dialogue, teaminess, robert duvall, giovanni ribisi, and delroy lindo. and a dog! and a classic car that shoots flames out its ass tailpipe! and angelina jolie as a bottle blonde! i love it so much i even gave it its own tag. :D
(i did however keep switching channels between that and the nightly criminal minds reruns, which were the tribe (aka "is your name samuel?") and children of the dark, which meant i had a choice of william lee scott as either a baby car thief or a baby psychopath. choices, choices. eventually the cars won out. i mean, i've seen children of the dark like three times, and that one scene in the tribe probably four. and i love me some giovanni ribisi.)
the twelve days of christmas, courtesy of the kenosha, wi, police dept - the untrained rookie is adorable. they also get budget meetings, night assignments, talks to kids, dirty squad cars, doughnuts.... socute.
