earlier today i spent a good fifteen minutes trying to explain sons of anarchy to rich-the-coworker - he asked - it got very complicated. he apparently watched the pilot of white collar and did not like it. O.O he thought it was dull. O.O i will however still continue to talk to him.
my stepcousin is having thanksgiving this year and is inviting twenty-four people. O.O i volunteered to bring a baked brie and crackers, and then she asked me to also bring some cookies. i don't want to make the best chocolate-mint cookies ever ever (even tho they really are the best ever ever) but i'm not sure what to make. suggestions so far include oatmeal chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin with craisins and maple syrup. what else screams "thanksgiving in new england" to you?
also is apricot jam a good idea or a weird idea to bake in a brie? usually i make it with raspberry but the last time i was in the store i bought apricot and i need an opinion on which would be better, or if there's a third option i haven't considered. now i just have to remember to, you know, buy a brie. and crackers.
the aforementioned rich the coworker is going to rome for thanksgiving. i might be jealous. altho i like thanksgiving. it's my kind of holiday - it's all about the eating. :D oh, ok, and the being thankful.
it was pouring rain when i left the house this morning and by the time i went to get the mail it was sunny and HOT out. like spring again. WEIRD. if i had a front yard it would be SO confused.
