i'm floating the idea of an eviler twin
i feel like i should post something. hi. :D the weather's crappy and yet i kind of want to leave the house. i haven't been to the comic shop in like a month and i'm starting to worry they'll take stuff out of my subscription folder and reshelve it if i don't come in and buy it. also i have a headcold but hope i've reached the end of it - sleeping for like twelve hours last night didn't hurt - and i feel better when i leave the house and do something. but i have brainfog and i'm just not looking forward to sitting on the t. hm.
my car was making a weird noise which i thought was an engine noise and not a muffler noise, so i took it to a garage and they told me... it was a muffler noise. >.< so i got a new muffler and a new exhaust pipe and oh yeah, a new timing belt. apparently you should replace the timing belt after six years or 60k miles. my car is, uh, eleven years old and has 83k miles on it. *ahem* so now it has new belts and new gaskets and a new exhaust system and i have significantly less money than i did on thursday. but all the new parts are guaranteed for seven years.... ah well, i wasn't thinking about getting a new car yet anyway. and on the plus side, it sounds normal again.
last night a&e had four reruns of criminal minds - two from s2 (ashes and dust and honor among thieves) and now two from s4 (mayhem and the angel maker). i've seen mayhem three times now and i still got all tense and teary every time garcia did. >.< i know what happens and i'm still all OMGOMGOMG and heartclenchy and everything. i love how they figure out that their profile was right but the target was wrong. mmm, competence. and i'd never actually seen the angel maker - there are a couple s4 episodes i completely missed - and mostly enjoyed it for all the nifty team banter and working together. i did like the case, tho. i didn't figure out who the unsub was until the bau did. and everyone making o.O faces at spencer when he's talking about evil twins makes me giggle. and he totally gets his geek on later. ("usually you'd use a computer to run all these combinations, but it was quicker just to do it longhand until i found the right one." "he's so lifelike!") also! morgan ruffling his hair in the briefing room. "nice hair, by the way." i may have squeaked. he's the cutest. and it is a nice haircut.
why yes, i do grade cm episodes on the number and cuteness of spencer scenes, why do you ask? :D
i've seen honor among thieves three times too and still think it's needlessly convoluted. (altho garcia calling spencer "junior g-man" is adorable, and i like getting to see prentiss and her mom.) and now that i can watch s2 and s4 back-to-back, i can say that i like rossi better than gideon. i mean, i like gideon, but i like rossi more.
