i think i got con crud a week late. is it still con crud if you don't get it right after the con? otherwise i just have your basic garden-variety the-weather's-changing-let's-feel-like-crap cold. well, i have sudafed, i'm prepared. and at least i have a couple weeks to recover before i go to spain. because flying with a headcold? not fun.
i would like to be better by sunday, tho, because curling with a headcold? also not fun. but i do appreciate the exercise.
in more positive news, i'm listening to the murder by death cd i got at the concert on saturday - red of tooth and claw - and i really like it. i'd like it even if i hadn't seen them live, if someone had just uploaded a couple songs or recommended them to me or something. good stuff.
i think i like agent stahl. she's a sneaky, manipulative bitch but i also think she's pretty smart in her manipulation, or at least she's very observant and knows how to use what she sees. altho she did kind of miscalculate what she'd get by playing clay and jax off each other. (and yes, she's smart, but so is jax.) clay's face when she told him jax knows he had donna killed? priceless. also i like hale this season a lot more than i did last season, i think because while he really isn't a fan of samcro, and would no doubt still really like them out of charming, he dislikes zobelle and his goons even more. he really does seem to have the town's best interests at heart, and he doesn't equate "charming's best interests" with "samcro's best interests" the way unser does. he's still clean. also i like unser more this season. also also i think opie's just heading for trouble. and while i assume chibs is still alive, i want to know a detail or two. like, when do we get to see him again?
juice being used as bait for the one guy in prison cracked me up. i giggled all thru their encounter in the infirmary. and then i just felt really bad that he got shanked. ow. (i love juice. i think he's so adorable, stupid hair and all.)
i'm pretty sure i missed the episode with the girl who was raped - tristan? - did zobelle's goons attack her? i really liked the conversation between her and gemma in the church. she's a good kid. and she talked her dad into posting some fairly significant bail. so what happens when samcro basically owes you $300,000 for getting them out of jail? do they just consider that repayment for the fact they prevented a bogus land deal that would've lost you your property? so convoluted, this show.
the random extra soa member who went to jail with everyone, who is he? what the hell is his name, and where did he come from? i think this is the second or third episode he's been in in any significant way, and i have no idea who he is and it bugs me.
