i have blisters on both feet because i'm wearing my loafers without socks. it made sense this morning.
yesterday i was going to spend my downtime between yom kippur services sewing the binding for my sweet charity book, except the cover did not turn out well - i got glue on it and it doesn't dry clear - and i didn't have time to make another. so i have all these pages cut and ready, and i have a back cover, and i have to remake the front cover. you might not guess that i've never messed up a cover and had to remake it, considering half the time i really don't know what i'm doing, but i never have. i'm annoyed i have to do it again. but at least i have enough paper that i can.
i really want a paper cutter sturdy enough and big enough to cut bookboard. a free-standing one. sadly i don't have a spare $1400 lying around, and i don't - and won't - make nearly enough books to make it worthwhile. but i still want one.
i forgot what else i wanted to say. this seems to happen to me a lot. >.<
did anyone watch the pilot of trauma last night? was it any good?
also i had a thot about criminal minds.
so elle's breaking point was when the unsub attacked and almost killed her in her own house. and gideon's breaking point was when frank attacked and killed sarah in his house. and hotch... was just attacked and almost killed in his own house. based on past events, it does not look good for him. (i don't think thomas gibson is leaving the show, altho i don't know anything about him so maybe he wants an option built in, just in case.) i expect the next couple episodes - tomorrow's at the very least - to reference foyet's attack in some fashion, even if it's just a throwaway off-screen mention of hotch's physical recovery and/or his no doubt fucked up mental state. the ptb aren't going to do that to him and not bring it up later.
(is it wrong that i'm just glad they're tormenting someone besides spencer for a change? i don't care if he is the damsel in distress and the go-to boy for trauma and torture, sometimes i want someone else to have the angst.)
