in which i am again confused by the radio but restored by curling news

the previously-held "they're trying to attract former listeners of the now-defunct rock station farther up the dial" theory has been trashed in favor of the "someone in the programming office is on crack" theory.
look, guys, if i wanted to listen to zeppelin i'd listen to waaf. the fact that the office radio is tuned to fnx should maybe tell you something.
in other less-confusing news, have an article about making ice for olympic curlers. i completely understand this article, and considering i've been having a couple days of "THAT DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE", this is good to know. i myself have never pebbled the ice, but i know exactly what it is. and i have had to wait for the pebbler to finish and get off the ice so i could, you know, curl.
