happy birthday knowthyself! writer, fangirl, karaoke-er! you find supernatural fen in the strangest places.... :D i think i'm a day late, but it's never too late to offer cake.

i have posted nothing of a ficcy nature all month and it's making me cranky. i have however assisted in the plotting of a criminal minds au which will likely never be written, but which is fun to think about. it involves artificial brains and exploding labs and sekrit government experiments and angst and is all wrenlet's fault, because pretty much everything cm-related is.
should i mention here that sometimes i'd much rather talk about the story than read or write it? sad but true.
i have actual work to do and am entertaining myself while i do it by constructing a mental picture of matthew gray gubler in a flapper dress and stockings rolled down to his knees and t-strap heels and a beaded headband with a feather in it. (and also the world's worst perm (tm) because just about every mental image i have of him boils down to "cute boy, bad hair". and the world's worst perm (tm) is baaaaad.) (this means jared padalecki is no longer the only hottie of whom i tend to think "you're such a cute boy, why do you make such bad hair choices?") what can i say, i'm easily entertained. :D
the sun is shining and the sky is blue and my boss is out of the office until friday and i have a ham sammich for lunch and my friends are crazy but i love them and it's all good.
