i have now discovered the point of facebook, and it is to resurrect old photos of one's eighth grade class during a class trip to washington, dc. and it is also apparently so you can appreciate the fact that your former classmates have better memories for names and faces than you do. my god, we were young.
i still suck at keeping up with people that way, but the old pictures are fun. i think all of mine from that era are in my parents' basement, so i can't even share.
