orders of business
first order of business: happy birthday gweneiriol! watcher of heathens, defeater of bad guys, and conqueror of the craziness that is apparently ff 12. :D cupcake?

second order of business: my ps2 no londer plays dvd's so i have to *ghasp* buy a dvd player. oh, the hardship. it's a really gorgeous day and i want to be out in it, not in target buying electronics. my life, so hard. *cough*
third order of business: saw indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull on friday with my sister. liked it better than indy 2 but not as much as indy 1 and 3. had some acceptably ridiculous moments that are ridiculous in the way of indiana jones movies, had some unacceptably ridiculous moments that are just too absurd to be believed, had some moments that made me squee.... overall a fun experience. shia labeouf is kinda cute, isn't he. i really missed marcus brody, tho. :(
fourth order of business: sat in theodosia's back yard yesterday for like three hours just talking. she has a yard! with a table with an umbrella! and flowers! i'm kind of jealous. and it was nice to sit and chat for a while. did i mention the weather was lovely? sun came out, there was a breeze, it wasn't too hot or too cold.... and i admitted to some of the really stupid movies i've watched (and plan to watch in the future...) for tony curran. league of extraordinary gentlemen, i am SO looking at you. which in a giant coincidence was on tv last night. i did not watch it. not even for tony.
