a. i now have sour gummy bats. they're not too sour and are very cute. i mean... bats! candy shaped like bats! there is no bad here.

b. i bought some spinach at the grocery store on tuesday and i'm not sure what to do with it besides eat it raw as salad. and i don't want to eat it raw as salad. what else do i do with it? is creamed spinach for one hard to make? do i boil it? steam? stir-fry? nuke it with some cheese? put it in something? help?

c. i forgot what i was going to say here. >.< oh! i don't think i'm going to do apocafic for nanowrimo, partly because i like the idea of seeing how much i can get across without actually saying it - i want a really spare style for it, and nano is all about the word count. so i was thinking a year (altho it will probably be more like a month...) in the life of little jay czerny. like when she's sixteen or something. i can write about her glam phase and her vegetarian phase (which drives her father NUTS) and her veryvery brief disco phase and i don't even know. maybe. or i could change my mind october 30 and i haven't even signed up yet and maybe i should do that....

d. speaking of apocafic, might i pimp spn_apocasmut? yes i know it's supernatural and smut and that means wincest, shut up. i'm all about the promoting of good apocafic. :D it's a ficathon and prompts are due by oct 24, with prompt claiming through halloween, and fic posting in january. so you can avoid all the end-of-year holiday-themed ficathons (i keep typing "ficathong" o.O ) because you really have until jan 31 to finish your fic. so you can do yuletide if you want. (if nothing else, some of the prompts might give you some nice non-spn and/or non-smut apocabunnies....)

the flist knows all, cooking, nanowrimo, supernatural fic, apocafic, ted and little jay
