have some first lines from some fics that are banging around in my head:
Being a werewolf is like being in Fight Club. The first rule of werewolf is that you do not talk about werewolf.
Daniel realizes that by now he should be used to the experience of leaving a classroom or lecture hall or building and finding Nash either waiting for him or coincidentally just passing by, and yet when he walks out of the graduate library, after a couple fruitless hours in the stacks, Daniel is surprised to see Nash sitting at the bottom of the front steps, smoking a cigarette and watching Preacher Mike pacing back and forth on one of the stone benches across the sidewalk.
Daniel gets home just in time to hear Nash yell "What the hell is your problem, Ostrovsky?" He can't hear Neil's answer, though.
