phone update

blogging from home, waiting for the mci tech. but guess what? the phone problem WAS the outside line. my upstairs neighbor had called verizon, and it turns out verizon had come by yesterday to temporarily fix the wires, which is why i had a dial tone last night. and then the guy came back this morning to permanently fix the wires. he thinks it was lightning damage or something. *shrug* so i have phone now. i am however still waiting for mci, mostly because i think it's too late to call and cancel the tech.

on the other hand, the scifi channel is running a dr who marathon or something, so i've been watching a lot of ninth doctor. "he's not human? but he has a northern accent!" "well, a lot of planets have a north." heh.
