never underestimate the purchasing power of fangirls with an internet connection

so you know the diecast model metallicar i wanted? i ordered one today, and when i didn't get a confirmation email - because apparently my isp blocked it as spam o.O - i called the place to say hey, did i give you the right address, i didn't get a confirmation. and the guy said yes, they did get my order, and my email came right back to them because my isp thought it was spam, and they actually sold out. O.O and have to order more. O.O they've sold like twenty black '67 impalas in the past few days. apparently someone mentioned the shop online, he says. ( why yes, yes they did.) and by now i'm kind of giggling, because you never underestimate the power of fangirls with credit cards. so i say "have you heard of the tv show supernatural?" and he says yes. and i say "that's the car." and then he says their ordering person is at a convention in vegas right now and may or may not have gotten the email to order more cars, so it might be a couple days until they get a new shipment, so i might not get mine until the end of next week. i said that was ok. he was very nice, but i think kind of baffled and a little amused that someone had posted this link to his shop in some online community and thus cleaned him out of '67 impalas. heee.

all this means to me is i have a little more time to find wee firearms and canisters of rock salt and whatever else i think the boys might have thrown in the trunk of the car.

never underestimate the power, supernatural
