fangirly question. hypothetical writing question.

rhetorical question: am i a big enough squealy spn fangirl to order a diecast model metallicar? (second one down, the black one. yes, i know they're all two-doors and the metallicar is a four-door. still.) the trunk opens, which means i'd have to find a 1/18" scale shotgun or three to put inside it. (sadly i lack the skill to replicate the weapons box, so a couple guns will have to do.) maybe a wee canister of rock salt and a wee dreamcatcher. where do you find wee model firearms, anyway?

hypothetical question: say i eventually write the story of how derry belmont loses his virginity (to a girl O.O ) at age fifteen. bearing in mind the story will involve messy, awkward, teenage first-time het sex (on a couch >.< ), and at this point in my online writing career i'm not going to fade to black, and bearing in mind that lj has never said anything to lead me to believe that sexually explicit fic about teenagers is safe from suspension - should i post it publicly on lj? should i post it under flock? should i post it somewhere else and link to it? for what it's worth, the story i want to tell isn't about sex for its own sake, but i'm not going to just slide past it.

true confession: i want to use the line "he's fifteen years old and his mother is dying." it's sex as comfort, because derry's starting to realize he'll be effectively orphaned before he's sixteen, and he's scared to death. (his dad's still alive, but they haven't had any contact in six or eight years, to the point that dad might not even know mom is dying. also derry's aunt takes custody of him when his mom dies, but he doesn't know her that well and doesn't want to have to live with her.)

this is not to spark a discussion of what lj should and shouldn't be banning, and why or why not. this is just to find out what you all think is the best way to post a fic so that people who want to read it and comment can, and people who will be squicked and/or appalled and/or horribly, horribly offended and convinced that i'm advocating child pornography don't have to see it.

writing, the flist knows all, derry belmont, fansquee
