I got a lot of things I guess I could talk about that together become pretty interesting, Like some sort of Voltron of blogging.
I'm so happy that Apple finally supports 64bit vista as I accidentally bought the 64bit instead of 32bit version when I upgraded. Unlike most people I've been pretty happy with Vista. The only thing that sucked was iTunes refused to sync my ipod. But now it works! So I can boot my hacky VMware solution of running windows inside of windows, which was a big headache but the best option at the time. So my computer gets back alot of its speed. YAY!
I also totally paid the 20 dollar "eff you loyal customers" tax for the ipod touch upgrade. I know a lot of people are getting crazy angy about it. I find this silly. I wasn't happy about paying to be sure but I think the added functionality is worth it.
Of course it only took a couple of hours for people to figure out how to customize what people get as your icon when they add you to there home menu. So naturally I immediately did it myself, for both http://www.tsukari.net and http://www.thevanzandts.com . Not that I expect anyone besides me to add My links to there iphone/ipod touch home menu, but I did, and I get to see cool icons now, so its totally win IMO. I'm trying to figure out how to take a picture of my screen so I can show em off when they've gone through apples shinyfier, but my attempts thus far are full of fail. I also purchased one of those EEE PC's, because Rob at work got one and they are so awesome, and suprisingly powerful, Plus it does everything I want a laptop for out of the box, and so I can get this and then just get the base mac mini and get everything I want computer wise. I was gonna get a white one but after looking at the 2g model rob got his wife I decided that the black on white look was lame.
I'm feeling really bad for my webhost Dreamhost right now, because of one realitively easy to make mistake, they billed everyone of there customers (a massive 7+ million dollars) and apparently people who have gotten there accounts overdrawn, are not in the mood to laugh about things. I personally would have been more offended if they didn't make a blog entry in the same joking manner they handle massive power outs and other goings on in the company. But then again, I didn't get my account overdrawn, because I already turned off auto rebill on my hosting. But I did for my domains, but even then I got my 60 dollars back that day. Some people apparently are haven't been so lucky though D:
