Looks like it was extended somehow, but it I guess the magic finally ran out. I'm sorry for not going to your shop, Miss Yuuko, but I hope that the maid reached you with the alcohol. I wasn't sure which you preferred, so I just picked things out at random ( Read more... )

Do you have a permit that allows you to keep a clothing store open in the city?

Why would you want to know?

Because I am a part of the law enforcement team in Avoria and it's my business to know.

Nice, finally getting around to a store that's been around longer than a year.

We have all of the documents needed to own and run a store in Avoria, yes. They're all under mine and my brother's names, if you'd like to see them.

As a matter of fact, I do need to see them.

I'll be dropping by soon to inspect these papers. Hopefully, you really are in possession of the documents.

You'll want to be going to the mansion on the hill, then. You'll have to go past our security, of course, but someone like you should be used to that, right?

They'll require proof of your identity, any and all weapons on your person, and proof that you're a part of the Avorian law enforcement. You'll get your weapons back when you leave.

Fine. I can handle that. ::Shuts journal::

*Watching through one of the cameras located near the gate, sitting on a couch and eating popcorn, with a microphone on the arm of the couch.* "You know, if the Avorian officers had done anything about Envy, or the akuma, or anything else, then we probably wouldn't insist on everyone visiting us going through a security check.

One of the drivers should be down soon, to bring you to the door. Please don't break anything, I'm too tired to deal with a lawsuit."

What!? A lawsuit?

You listen to me, sir, I won't be talked to in that tone!

"Really? It sounds like you're being talked to in it, though. Aren't police officers supposed to remain calm and rational at all times? Maybe I should complain to the Admin..."

::Clenches fist and sighs:: No, that won't be necessary. I'm not here to stir up trouble, I just want to make sure everything you're doing is legal and in order. Nothing else.

"Would now be a good time to tell you about the underground slave-trade we set up a few months ago?"

Making jokes about such a matter is not a good idea.

Now, I think I would like to take a look around your place if you don't mind.
