Glad Light got some of his dignity back at the end, but I also wish they stuck with the manga version where Light gets utterly destroyed... and it would've helped A LOT to add that final chapter. ._.
I did like how Madhouse used its artistic license here... Light walking away and seeing his past self was a nice touch. Misa traveling in the train in silence, and looking once more at the city at the top of the building... where no one knows whether she'll jump or not. *cough* Yes, we know what happens anyway. And L looking down at Light as he closes his eyes... irony, eh? Wonderful. :D
And Mikami was just plain pitiful... a really disgusting sight. He failed his mission and realized that his god was... a dying guppy. >_> Then he kills himself with the very "weapon" he used to eliminate others... a pen. >_>;
