The scope is finally over!! Yesterday was nothing but a nightmare...Dx The laxatives suck like heck. I do not want to taste that thing ever again. It made me puke...I could've had just puked the whole medicine out but the doctor said that I musn't puke so I held it back for, oh I dunno, six hours >__<
Today went to the hospital at 7.30 in the morning just to do the scopes. For some reason I wasn't all that worried. I like the smell of hospitals so I like visiting them XDD and the smell made me feel more at ease. What I didn't expect was to be so-called hospitalised for the entire morning and discharged once breakfast was done. To be frank, it was quite the memorable experience. I kind of liked it. I'm probably very young on their list of patients scheduled to do scopes (especially since I was one of the first to do it) today so all the assistants started comforting me o.O Lol. They took my blood pressure and told me it would feel tight when I already knew how it would feel since I've taken my blood pressure many times beforehand. XD
I think the sedation wasn't strong enough. I woke up halfway O.Olll They said they would take a blood test while I was asleep but when I woke up, I saw them taking the blood test already. They thought I was still asleep -_- And having the endoscope moving here and there is not...a pleasant thing at all....I mean, they really really didn't know I was already awake. When it was all over, the nurse even said 'wakey wakey' to me, lol. When I told the doctor I was awake at that time when I went to consult him, he sort of gaped XD;; Priceless.
Hospital food is improving. *nods* Last time I was hospitalised, the food they gave was terrible (well it depends from hospital to hospital, after all). Even when I was starving, I had no appetite to eat. At least this hospital I stayed at had food that looked edible.
After consulting the doctor and getting much more medication than before (in the end, all that's wrong with me is IBS/IBD and some acid reflux aka gastritis), the pharmacist gave me a dvd. Apparently it's footage of what the endoscope caught @_@;;; I don't think I want to view that just yet. The pictures were disgusting enough, especially the colon and my slightly inflammed stomach. I mean, I love biology but not this much xD
