My piano teacher is being weird. First, she asked me whether she gave me some weird exam paper, which she obviously didn't. Then she called to tell me that she has this three-day piano convention and won't be free today, so she wanted to postpone the lesson to tomorrow. And then she told me, again, that she wants the lesson as usual -______- What.the.heck.
Anyway, that's beside the main point. What I intended to post is this:
Isn't it nice!? XDD;;; Yeah, that's my new Bleach psp game. It's Bleach Soul Carnival and it was released in Japan only last Thursday. Came to Singapore so soon, as I expected, seeing as Heat the Soul 5 came here two to three days after its release in Japan.
I would say, overall, it's an excellent game, probably the best psp game I have so far. From my understanding, you don't really need much Japanese knowledge, save for the fact that dialogue between characters will get boring if you can't understand (I make an effort to listen and read the dialogue only 'cuz I study Jap) and certain instructions will be hard to understand as well. Other than that, people can play this game just fine.
The only bad quality this game has is that bosses are way too hard to beat. And even when you get to play the boss character after beating him/her as one of the playable characters, it would seem that the boss has 'lost' all power and might. I mean, I find myself ditching Zaraki, Ishida (especially Ishida) and even Yoruichi when I tried playing as them >__< I think I'm just not good with them. Whenever I come to a boss battle, I'd think it would be all over for me. True, I lost to Byakuya eight times, Yamamoto seven times, and Pantera well over ten times (Pantera is, in my opinion, the toughest boss I've met). Powered-up Kon? I still can't beat him.
Yes, I lost to Kon. Of all characters, Kon. Well sad to say, he was being powered by the Hougyoku which I have no idea how he got his paws on, and I can't clear the stage because all that's left is beating him. Stage 14 is sorta retarded. I think it's a way to get Kon as a playable character. I say no thank you. And if someone here has the game and hasn't reached Stage 13, when you get to Aizen, just lose to him. You can't possibly win. Seriously. I tried it and it didn't work. Besides, the only way to clear the stage is to lose to him, so just lose. The credits roll but it isn't the end, obviously. Stage 14 still isn't cleared. Bastard Kon and his retarded tornadoes!!
Speaking of boss battles, I realise that Nnoitra is the easiest to beat, aside from the horrendous hollow in the first stage. Just play as Shinji and spam the cero. Very easy to beat Nnoitra that way XDD;;; Hitsu-chan was tough. Almost died a few times with him. He didn't even launch his bankai and I nearly died!! O.O Maybe it's cuz I was playing as Zaraki (that's why I did the ditching).
On a completely random note, the La Corda 2 Encore Visual Book is here!! I'm going to collect it from Kinokuniya this Saturday after my gastroscopy and colonoscopy. The hospital is pretty much just opposite Takashimaya where Kinokuniya is, so it's quite convenient for me =)
