...

Yea so Tuesday was the Giff Howarth clinic, and it was cool. My private lesson was awesome; he told me I was GOOD. I was like "omgomgomgomg a famous guy complimented me" CLinic was alright.. now the kids at school know HOW TO HOLD THE MALLETS. I'm pretty happy we did this.. aaand we got a new marimba, which is also amazing. Now for the new tympani..

After the clinic my brother and I hung in the band room till like 10PM so he could critique me and so we could start learning Tango Suite, a duet we're going to play at the first concert next year. It's wicked hard, but my brother has a key to the percussion room at OCC until September so we can go up there like everyday during the summer and practice.

Today was a pretty crappy day. Started out with a dentist appt. I have good teeth apparently, but it still really sin't the best time one could have. I didn't get to work a lot on my fanfare, 2nd block just kinda stunk, tennis is gym was crappy... i mean i won every game even though I was facing teams of 2 all by myself, just because im awesome like that, but it just kinda blew.. too windy and stuff.. english sucks, so that was obviously bad
after school I stayed to practice like usual and wasnt playing too well... maria came in and performed for her and she got to see how mcuh i rule :-P, but i ended up cutting my hand even worse playing tympani again. that really hurts still argh
Also, my mom made my SSYO audition time for 4:54 PM on Wednesday May 31, but were kinda pissed about it because iw as the first person to call, they said they couldnt find the percussion info and said theyd take my name and call me back.. my mom called the next day and they were bascially like "yes we know go away" So they never called and i got one of two remianing spots, and the lady seemed like she know nothing about percussion auditions and they STILL didnt answer the questions I asked the first time I called them.
Marching band later.. maybe that'll be better

oh... In MUSIC theory today OLIVIA FECTEAU gave me a fortune she got froma fortune cookie. It says "Everyone has the right to choose one's own lifestyle." I'm hoping that a certain someone knows who they are and will leave me alone now. :-)

I found out today from my dad that my aunt Jo, her boyfriend, my cousin Ang, and Ang's friend are coming down from Pittsburgh to stay at my dad's this weekend for my brother Graduation. That's pretty cool.

Also, anyone who wants to go see taming of the Shrew with me Friday feel free to tell me so I don't have to go alone. I can't go Saturday.
