(no subject)
To clue those in who read my LJ and are not from Bellingham, a good friend of mine was killed in a car accident early Thursday morning. Sean was an amazing guy. He could make anyone laugh.
The driver of the car, another friend of mine is probably going to jail. Reckless driving and most likely alcohol were involved. There is a shitstorm going on right now over this and I don't really want to share my opinion here. I'll just say that I don't want Markham to go to jail and that it makes me feel horrible that instead of coming together to help each other heal, people are attacking one another.
Sean was a wonderful guy. I could always count on him to make me laugh. He'd make nerdy jokes that I could appreciate. He'd kick everyone's ass in Magic (except for my "Haha, Snakeform!" moment), he was a fun friend to drink with, inappropriate and hilarious jokes were always flying...
It's just amazing. I was very depressed on Thursday. I drank a lot and was just miserable. Since then, I'm just kind of in a state of disbelief. I expect him to show up.
I came to an interesting and terrifying conclusion last night.
I worry about Markham.
I miss Sean.
