Welcome to tsubasa_battle, an rpg style lims, for icons from series by CLAMP! (that was a mouthful).. anyway, this community idea was inspired from the somewhat genius idea by tartankilts over at ff_kh_battle. The following is some faq's for this place.

Please note this faq is complete, but under construction - it may be changed from time to time.

I think the -2 points should be kept for not submitting. Even if someone places last, at least they did submit something - I think it's fairer to participants who take the time to make an icon this way. :O

Hmm. That's a good point, actually. I think I'm going to take it and use it. XD It would be fairer in the sense someone actually did submit something. I'm probably going to keep to 'if it's really dramatic and valid' irl reason it's just the one point, though since you can't always help it when things don't work.

Thanks for pointing this out, though. ^^

Yeah, I think the -1 if the person has good reason is fair. :)

After three rounds, your negatives will be counted, and the person with the most will be immediately eliminated.

If I may make a suggestion, can the number of people eliminated per elimination round be two instead of just one? My main concern is that at the rate this would go otherwise (1 person eliminated per three weeks) with the current list of twenty participants, it would take over a year to finish the first battle series, already not counting possible delays. [I figure, 60 weeks=15 months]

I'm not sure how other battle communities run, this being my first battle, but to have a battle drag on for a very long time would seriously harm morale as well as clash with real world events (finals, etc).

Battle comms are fairly new, so a lot of places are trying out different things. I like your point though, it's a good one - though if you look at the last week at ff_kh_battle, a lot of people were ko'ed, but that was using the original point system that first appeared.

Of course even with my version of the battle system people are going to be eliminated in other ways rather than just an elimination round. 1 person will not be eliminated after every three weeks if points are lost. I do wonder. I think taking off two people is a good idea, so I'll have a think about it before we get to the third battle, unless I think up any more ways in which people can be eliminated. Thanks.

Oh yes, and I'll change it to '2 people' for now as well.

Wait, so a mod's choice gets +3 points? I don't know, but that seems to be a bit unfair to me :/ People's Choice gets +3 based on the opinions of the mass, and, to me, it seems unfair for one person to get +3 just based on one person's likes (even if that person's the mod). I don't want to pick a fight or anything; I think giving points for mod's choice is fine, but I think +1 is enough.

Despite the fact I do agree with you, I think +3 is fine. Why? Because they keep the negatives. For example, they could get mods, but still get about fourteen negatives. They could have the most negatives at the end of an elimination round and be eliminated immediately for that count. Thats why I kept them having the negatives. :)

Ohh, I see, that makes sense. And only least favorite loses points... Heh, this LIMS is going to go on forever. XDDD
