Randomness: Shoutout to Daffodytreasury! I love and miss you.

I am not into anime or manga much. Maybe I outgrew it? I don't think so--- but venturing into an acclaimed blogger's site excites me more now. I find it so weird when I never used to care that much about my own appearance.

If I had to name one favorite fashion blogger, I would definitely name Miss Pandora. She is classy and sexy, but she is not necessarily everyone's idea of a 'perfect' beauty. She is not model-skinny or long legged, but her eyes changes depending on the character she is playing. I love that she lets her clothes and photos do all the talking. She has clothes that make me green with envy.

I also find it strange that I do not seem to be undeterred even when she doesn't have any clothes on. Because even then, it does feel like the nudity is for art's sake and nothing malicious.

Pandora was introduced to me last year by crysta0917. Ever since, I never fail to visit her blog at least once a month. I fell in love with her style. I admit that sometimes her photoshoots seem funny, but her class and style is undeniable. Her blog is always worth watching. She likes to experiment and sometimes it works, sometimes it is funny and sometimes it doesn't work but is still something to see. She always seems like a different person when she is in character. I sometimes think of her as a chameleon, but one that doesn't disappear in the background.

Like I said, she likes to experiment and is very adventurous with her style. Her inspirations go from Asian to Burlesque. I actually like that she doesn't seem to let boundaries bother her. After all. Beauty is beauty. It doesn't matter where it happens to come from. She had a Chinese inspired photoshoot once I think. It may seem strange at first but I thought it looked great.

Fashion can be bought. Style one must possess. ~Edna Woolman Chase

But rich people can afford the best stylists though!

Just kidding.

But seriously, I don't always go through her blog just to look at her clothes but also to see what she sees. She sees beautiful gardens, the most lovely antiques and has one of the best views in Fashion Week. It takes my breath away. She is someone who appreciates beauty and class. I like that, because such qualities are so rare now. Sex and scandal seems to be the popular trend now. I think that you don't have to be that to be sexy.

I love that she also posts her 'inspirations' for her photoshoots and clothes. It gives her readers a glimpse of what she finds beautiful and how she interprets it. She isn't about what is 'In' but about what she thinks is beautiful. Maybe I am wrong because after all--- I can't really read her blog because it is in another language. Pandora is French. Sometimes I do use babelfish. Don't you just love babelfish?

Next time when you're online, visit her blog for a while. You can love it, you can hate it. For me, it is not a waste of time to just browse through. Who knows? It might give you a bit of education of what real 'style and fashion' is all about. Some people it is just about wearing and buying expensive clothes or wearing what the girl on television is wearing.

It is so much more than that.
