Soooooo news.
School's over in a week and a bit. I write my last exam on April 3rd, start my last practicum on the 6th. I'm looking forward to it simply because it means no more homework. Ever again. Unless I decide to go for Master of library science, but thats a long ways away if I ever do.
Also sad, because damnit, I'm going to miss my class. Possible the first time in.... like, ever, where I will actually miss my entire class and not just a few people from it.
It will be so weird not to see them every day... but whatever. I'm sure there's ways around that.
In other traumatising news, the bird's been diagnosed with a liver disease. We don't know which liver disease or how serious it is because birds are notoriously hard to diagnose and treat, but we've made two rush visits to the emergency clinic in the past week and a half, and several more trips to his regular vet.
He had his worst attack on the 15th, at about 9:50 ish, and we were at the vets by 10:15. Severe difficulties breathing, and he was coughing up seeds. We didn't know anything was wrong at that stage, he just stopped being able to breath and that was really scary. Got news of his liver disease on that tuesday, and some medication that may or may not help depending on severity except he hates taking the medicine and it induced another fit and another rush visit on thursday night.
Come last saturday, we can medicate him better and have managed twice pretty well successfully. Or at least, there've been no repeat visits, which is good, but there's another 25 or so days left in the actual treatment so we're crossing fingers.
So with that, and homework, and final assignments and practicum prep and all other stuff, I've been a bit busy :P
