Two more weeks...

The first semester of my senior year in high school is nearly over. It went by pretty quick, and not much happened. I suspect the spring semester will be more eventful considering my four-year stint in high school will be coming to a finale and track season will be in full swing. This means I have about 7 months of freedom left. After that, I will basically be property of the U.S. government and subject to whatever they tell me to do for at least the next 9 years. I guess that's kind of crazy.

I'm not worried about finals or anything. My average is rather ridiculously high, and I can spare a few points. It's not like I was going to study anyway.

I honestly cannot think of anything to complain about right now in my life. It really seems like everything is going my way. I think I need to go buy a lottery ticket because I've been really lucky lately. However, that scares me somewhat. My pessimistic side always reminds me that eventually something bad will happen, but right now I don't even care. I'm just riding the wave until it breaks...

Oh yeah, I took the SATs for no apparent reason yesterday, and I believe I improved my score (again for no reason at all). I signed up for them when I was not positive about my situation with West Point, but since my parents paid for them, I did not want to completely waste their money. It would be cool if I got a perfect score on the math section though.

Note: I still have the happy icon for my current mood.

Oh I forgot, for some reason I am the student of the month for Collins Hill High School. I have no idea how I pulled off that one.
