Just to let you guys know (because this might be a concern?)- Springfest is a challenge that is open to ALL areas of the world, even those for which it won't be spring (because, yes, I am aware that it won't be spring in all areas of the world in April, hee).
The point of the challenge is not actually the season it's taking place in; the optional theme for prompts is going to be spring, however loosely you want to apply that term and however you want to use it. You can think of it as the actual season, or just the ideas that spring is meant to represent (e.g. new beginnings, which we thought could be fitting for this fandom. if not, though, again: the theme will be optional!)
The theme and the name of the fest is not meant to alienate or exclude anyone. :)
