May/December is younger/older relationships, like big age differences. XD

I have been wiki-ing like a champ here, and it looks like "May to December" is a lyric from a musical from the 1930s.

Uninteresting fact* alert: IIRC there was a British sitcom called May to December back in the early 90s I think, about a relationship between a woman in her early 30s I guess and a guy in his 50s and they used that song as the theme tune I think.

*have not bothered to factcheck my claims. May be complete lies. If not, I'm slightly concerned for myself that I remember the details of defunct sitcoms when I regularly forget my pin number. I FAIL AT LIFE.

True! I fell down an Internet rabbit hole about that same sitcom.

And I regularly put my purse in the refrigerator.

Cool, I didn't just invent it then. Thinking more, I seem to remember that the older guy was Scottish which then made me think of him as Peter in your Wardo fic, but that was bad thoughts, bad, because iirc the guy in May to December was just sort of old looking, in a nice comforting, looks like your dad way, and I really don't want Eduardo to be shagging him....

I have a child around who puts my purse in random places. Yesterday it was in my shoes. Which was actually quite helpful.

That is definitely more helpful than the fridge.

Of course, in my mind Peter looks like John Simm, NOM --
