pretty sure that's only as of a few years ago, though. harvard changed to have exams before break I think in winter 07 (so academic year 07-08). google isn't being terribly helpful. either way, while our heroes were at harvard they still would have had post-break exams.

My BFF from high school was there in 03 and she had her exams before break. She said they'd been doing it that way for awhile?

oh, weird! I have friends who were there in 06 and they complained about it nonstop. maybe I just have whiny friends. I defer to your BFF :)

Who knows, my BFF could have had professors who didn't want to deal with exams after break!
