Well, it was not because Eduardo saw a post from Dustin complaining how Mark would torture everyone for attending an unimportant but required meeting. Eduardo didn't care how Mark would be exhausted with endless meetings. He just wanted to make his friend Dustin happy and his friend Beast happy; he wanted them to enjoy that stolen relaxation. Whatever the reason is, Eduardo felt good, that good he hasn't felt for a long time. So, it was a nice shot.
Eduardo did care about Beast. He refreshed the page everyday to make sure Beast was taken good care of, such as food, water and walking, and you know, all puppies needing their persons' love and talk. He got angry once when he realised it was 4:00am in Palo Alto when Beast posted a text. He abused how irresponsible Beast's person was (he didn't refer to Mark) and emphasised any creature should have some sleep to keep healthy.
Beast was such a good friend and he tried his best to comfort Eduardo; he actually apologised.
Beast: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. It's just, well, I couldn't sleep. Sometimes it was killing me when I couldn't sleep. I want to be hold or at least someone lie aside, just like old days. No, I, I don't know what I'm talking about. Oh, I'm the most pathetic dog in the world because I'm in a delusion of impossibilities.
There are hundreds of comments saying Mark Dad should make Beast happy and pay attention to puppy's occasional anxiety.
Eduardo read through all those comments and then took a breath out. Maybe he was in a delusion too, because he really thought the one behind those words was Mark rather than Mark pretending Beast. Apparently, he was the only one who thought so.
Now he felt bad.
