Victorian steampunk AU. Eduardo is the son of a Brazilian tycoon and Mark is an enterprising, cutting edge young inventor who may just be the Next Big Thing, if his reputation for being rather rude and dismissive of societal conventions doesn't get in the way. (He allows women to work in his workshops, his clothes are untidy and the are rumors that he kisses men!) Eduardo, wanting to defy his father and demonstrate his own business sense, decides to invest in Mark's workshop. And of course all of this evolves into an unexpected romance, with lots of long, drawn UST and people in waist coats and all kinds of new machines.

And obvs, Dustin is Mark's right hand man at the workshop and Chris is the university friend who introduces Eduardo to Mark, because Chris grew up with Mark and Dustin.

Suit on, tie straight, Eduardo's walking to along a paved sidewalk and will soon be entering a building of glass, stories tall, and an elevator that looks as fancy as the board room he'll be entering. He's also trying to smooth the creases of concern from his face. Reassuring himself that the news wasn't talking about anyone he knows ( ... )

my heart stops working when you accidentally brush your skin on mine.

please stop my heart completely and just hold me.

maybe five times mark couldn't concentrate because eduardo was touching him and one time eduardo knew exactly what he was doing. (one of those being post-movie would be amazing but not required) - chris/dustin wise, maybe five times dustin couldn't concentrate.... etc.

Comfort sex, maybe? Eduardo does an interview with Anderson and he can't help but feel bad for the poor guy.
