“I wasn’t stopping you, and if you intend to try again, I won’t stop you then either.”
It’s husky and dark and loose somehow, not as jagged and terse as it usually is, and something in Eduardo’s belly shivers just getting to hear it so close, so because of him. Smiling, he nudges his nose into Mark’s and mumbles,
“Good, because I want to see everything I missed not taking your clothes off, and getting you to shower with me seems like it would kill two birds with one stone.”
Mark shakes his head, probably at how Eduardo is mothering him again, even after what they’ve just done, but nonetheless smiles a little, arches his back in a breathtaking way and sits up with Eduardo to pull his shirt over his head and toss it away from him.
“Whatever, Wardo. Just, if I catch you trying to clean between my toes, I’m out of there.”
Eduardo chuckles and then, pulling himself up off the sofa, yanks Mark onto his feet and up against his body, pressing his still wet fingers down the back of Mark’s sweats along the sweat-damp crease of his ass, and whispering over the skin of Mark’s jaw,
“I’ll be a little busy cleaning here. Very, very thoroughly.”
Mark groans a little and clutches at Eduardo’s arm where it’s around his waist, his eyelashes fluttering closed just the tiniest bit before he shoves him away and half-glares, stalking toward the stairs with a sharp,
“That’s acceptable, I guess.”
And if Eduardo trembles a little as he shoves his slacks and briefs down off of his hips and goes to fold them on top of his bag, if he smiles like a fucking idiot all the way up the stairs after ripping off his shirt and kicking off his socks, if he stops for a moment and stifles a hysterical giggle when he hears Mark’s tuneless humming while he sets up the shower through the bathroom door, well.
Once Eduardo gets under the water and presses Mark against the tile in reach of the spray, his hand cupping Mark’s ass as Mark’s hands - those goddamned fucking hands - grip his sides, their mouths sealed together so tight not even the steam can get in, neither of them will be worrying about that.
