The just write something update
Tatum enrolled in s super hard science based middle school. She is in a pretty advanced math class and is really struggling. The girl who has never gotten below a b is regularity bringing home tests with a big fat F on them. She seems to understand the concepts but makes careless mistakes.
She will get an f then 2 a's then 3 f's. I am convinced it is her lack if mastery of her multiplication tables. In 4th grade the had to do a thing called the 60 second sweep and for some reason she had a mental wall and has never gotten s firm handle on it.
We have hired a tutor which she hates but is good and cheap (well relatively for a tutor around here). I sure hope she can turn this around, if not I will suggest pulling her and putting her in another class. I know that would be embarrassing for her but her confidence is more important. She I suppose to main to a b average.
Soccer
Both kids were on the same soccer team this season and last Saturday they won the championship on penalty kicks. Tatum kicked one of the winning kicks and Drake had a great game. Both kids have been asked to play on an all star team. Tatum the all girls and Drake the co-Ed. Everyone is super excited. I can say I have better things to do than spend all my evenings at the park but I do love watching them play.
I am even more concerned about my memory these days. I had a doctors dppointmrnt the other day and forgot to tell him about it ( how funny is that).
There are lots of example the most blatant bring lady Saturday then I forgot to give Tatum her medicine and didn't realize until she was half way to Disneyland with a friend birthday. I spent my day driving up Anaheim.
We are driving to the in-laws in Northern Cal for Thanksgiving , and the kids are very excited that my mil has very reluctantly told us we could bring Banjo!
That could be a 10 page post. Ok tutor done gotta hit the park!
