I'm sick of 'reviews' that employ metaphors and hate. You sound like so and so, he sounds like so and so, she wore the same shirt I did yesterday, why don't we all just get along?!
I don't see anyone else going out getting signed by Victory Records, booking months and months of national shows with well-known bands by themselves, recording in NY with an AMAZING producing duo, promoting their shit like the world's about to cave in, and selling an awesome number of CDs the opening week.
I can't believe people honestly sit there and pick apart a five fucking second clip of a song completely biased and close minded, hoping to make some sort of relation to another band just so they can rip on them because they think they sound smart. The Underoath thing is old, get over it, GET A MIND OF YOUR OWN, and appreciate music for what it is, not what other people rip it apart to be.
Oh, and over 800 kids that showed up at their CD release show (a few hundred were turned away because it was sold out) seem to disagree with every negative critique published. I've read my fair share of 4LL cd reviews, and most of them, whether hateful or not, seem to agree that 4LL will be the next big thing.
