The demolition continues...
What a day...
Earlier this week, K's mom had come over to grab something from our garage. In the process of getting what she wanted, she knocked over our big pot of peanut oil we use for the fryer. Oil everywhere and I guess she tried to clean it up with paper towels... which did nothing but smear it all over the place. She ended up putting the remainder of the oil in a garbage bag and then realized THAT leaked. So we had peanut oil residue in the front part of the garage, near the door as well as outside on our driveway where she ended up throwing the garbage bag into our recycling bin that we use for leaves and branches. Cleaning it up with paper towel didn't work.... so K had her come over today to clean that up.... with Dawn dish soap and a broom. Of course, K helped to make sure it all got cleaned up. But now we have a recycle can that's all greased up on one side (yuck) and a big stain on our driveway where the oil just wouldn't come up (or K didn't scrub it enough).
When K and R were done with that, they worked on the bathroom some more.
I went and got a truckload of dirt and spread it out in the many areas that still needed it. Then worked on the landscaping bricks. I'm almost done!!!! I must have about 260 feet left to do and then I'll totally have it done.
Geez, what will I do then?
