When I woke up this morning I decided I should go swimming since summer semester is over. I ended up babysitting for a few minutes while I was out there - and the water felt damn good... but of course, I sport a new red hue. After cleaning I headed to the music buildings and there was a lady who locked her keys in her car. There was a UPD officer with her and they had given up it seemed. When I walked by they hounded me for a screw driver, which I didn't have. So she cussed me out - and followed me inside telling me I should be more prepared! So I decided to tell her that SHE was the one in the predicament and my keys were in my pocket. I also offered her a number to a lockpick fella who doesn't charge much - she refused. Even with her stubborn bitchiness I am still having a good day.
I actually enjoyed myself while playing today. I didn't play the audition music really... mostly I just played for recreation. This weekends only goal is to make the Persichetti performance ready. One of next weeks big goals is to stopping suck on the F tuba.
The first movement of the Plog is starting to come along and be enjoyable, but it all goes away when I think about the difficulty of the third movement. At least the middle one is fairly easy. The Wilder lost its flare, and I no longer enjoy practicing it for some reason.
