Maybe it's because of the photography, but you don't look happy in these shirts. That alone is a big clue that you're not where you want to be.
I like that you're using ribbons and such in your work, but the choice of ribbon matters just as much as the cutting. Shirts made from t-shirts tend to look very bold compared to "regular" shirts - look for larger, more substantial ribbons that will be more in proportion with the shirt. You'll also get a more professional look if you strengthen the places where the ribbon attaches to the shirt - grommets for example.
I think you need to cut less, add sleeves instead of ribbons (they don't look like they're staying up too well) and hem everything. If you weren't wearing a tank top I don't think these would be appropriate! :X
