Con in a week? DRIVE TO THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE FOR PHOTOSHOOT!
lol that pretty much sums up our roadtrip experience to 3 valley. And we were all stressing out/not sleeping to finish said cosplays OTL LOL FAIL!
So this is the cosplay recap of that trip! Y'know, the important part XD lolol j/k j/k .... I dress up as a cartoon character for fun OTL .... MOVING ON 8D
Over the weekend I was able to cosplay two things that have been on my list for awhile: Vocaloid and Baccano!
annnnnd even was able to do something I said I would never ever do =D
So we decided to just take a break and chill/work on cosplays the day we arrived, most people napped as we all were rolling on about two hours of sleep, paired with a 7 hour drive to get to the destination. I however decided to work on stuff. So I finished sewing buttons, styled wig and then hand sewed the hem of another cosplay. I was pretty tired but I find it hard to nap during the day, and it was nice to get it all out of the way. We hesitantly planned out what our schedule was going to look like, then went out for dinner.
I realised AFTER I pigged out at dinner that...oh shit.... the cosplay im about to get into is already a little iffy, AND NOW I HAVE A FOOD BABY FML T__________________T I had wanted to cosplay it in the morning as thats when im my thinnest (SHUT UP ITS TRUE) ... so we headed back to the hotel and started to get ready. It took us all quite a long time as they were more elaborate or required lots of makeup. This was my first time doing a cosplay that needed so much makeup, but it was lots of fun! So around midnight XD;;;;; we were all ready and left the room for the lobby of the hotel, which had a nice feel that suited the series. So, if you havnt already guessed (or knew)....
I cosplayed Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji XD;;;; I had always made a point to say I would never cosplay Sebastian, which is why so far Ive cosplayed Fini/Butler Grell and have a half completed William in my closet. I originally planned to wear butler!Grell this weekend and started plotting on how we could make a decent group by making someone else do Sebastian. Karen told me that her and Annie were going to make John the cosplay and I asked Carina to borrow her wig, but then got curious at one morning at 3am decided to do a makeup test:
I sent the pic to Karen and we both decided, 'hey...not so bad....' lol and the rest is history (well apart from Karen and I drafting the pattern 4 days before we left and then she sewed the costume during the week after work while I sewed other cosplays OTL).
I really enjoyed cosplaying Sebastian. It wasnt that I never *wanted* to, I just thought I would be horrible... because for me he is a character that just seems uncosplayable XD; lol Regardless, I cant wait to do it again ^^ BLUESTRIPESBOOCHAN!
So we finished up the KS shoot around 2am? And by that point we were all ready to crash. So headed back to our rooms and beeeeeeeeeeeed.
On Sunday we decided to do two in one, so Karen and I did Baccano! While John and Annie did Gundam. Each group had our own epic photog and then half way through the day we switched 8D
I was so excited as the setting was just too unbelievably perfect for Baccano!
TRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSS
There was a 'haunted' train that they decorated up like a haunted house; I get scared really easily in those things so was like CHANE HOLD ME took it like a man 8D ..... all fear disappeared when we saw bloody handprints and my Rail Tracer fangirl broke out and was like OMG I WANT A PICTURE!!! XD We continued deeper into the train and all scaryness was shot down when Karen turns to me to warn me, 'ok...just so you know, there is a flapping white sheet ahead' .... LOL it was like, well - when you put it that way =____=
ok ok, enough Baccano! We got changed and went out for some lunch/dinner before heading back and changing into Alice Human Sacrifice Vocaloid.
Karen and I have wanted to cosplay Len & Rin for awhile now, however have put it off so we were pretty happy to be able to do it. Thank you to Annie for getting everyone involved, and to John for complying with it LOLOL It was really awesome to have the full group.

lol ok, so when I hiccup.... I sound like a small dog.... specifically a poodle OTL .... so its kinda an ongoing joke like, "where'd that poodle come from/go" whenever I hiccup. When we were taking these photos John didnt have his glasses on so couldnt see anything and I hiccuped, and thus the poodle disappeared again. After we commented about it John genuinly wanted to know where the poodle was XD Omg, we started laughing so hard... which of course he just wanted to know more, "where's the poddle!?" which made us crack up even harder XDDDD .... which of course made me start snorting when I laughed T___T yes... my name is Heather and I snort when I laugh ;____;
We then moved to some stairs to take photos and wanted some 'dead shots'. While we were posing some ladies walked by and were like "oh no they all died D8" lol which made me snicker. AND AGAIN lol when we were getting into our poses Kaito found some epic ways in which to 'die'
Like he had fallen down the stairs head first... again, much laughter on all our parts.

I then saw the hallway and immediately thought of the shining (lol I cant help it anytime I see creepy hotel hallways) and was like OMG KAREN! We need creepy twin pics at the end of that hallway! *___* she hadnt seen the shining so didnt know what I was talking about XD;
