Yeah, life has become dull and meaningless. Its like an endless continuation of events that I know will happen. The pattern has become some constant that it is becoming quite tiresome. I need something else to do. I need somewhere else to go. And sadly, that requires money.
Now, I will say, WoW hasn't become boring. It hasn't really changed for me. I am excited about the new changes in the expansion. I am curious to get some of the things that I haven't gotten to yet in the big instances. I am hoping Mandokir drops his damn bow before I have to sic a hundred leper gnomes to abuse him in the most inhumane ways possible. But one of my favourite aspects of the game has died in the latest patch. The epic battles that once were Alterac Valley have ceased to be. In Blizzard's attempt to make the games pop faster for everyone, they succeeded...in making the whole long game pointless. It is now just a race for the other end of the flag. True, I have maxxed out my rep with them, but the epic battles are what I enjoyed most of them. The big instances, like ZG an AQ are certainly fun, but they honestly don't happen enough. I understand that this isn't a big raiding guild, and I would prefer it not be, but I don't want to end up bored either.
I may have to start writing erotica again to see if I can get some spark back in my life.
